IRSI Opens New Permanent Office in Rockland, Maine

Port Chester, New York... International Research Services, Inc. announces the opening of its new office in the historic Thorndike Building in Rockland, Maine. The buildng has recently been converted for office use from retail/residential status, and has already attracted a number of tenants in the medical field.

In commenting on the opening of his new office facility, IRSI president Stephen Schwartz said, "When we went looking, a few years back, for an additional site for our clinical studies, we quicky became convinced that the midcoast region of Maine, with its unique climate and demographic mix, was the perfect solution. We have conducted a number of successful clinical studies in the Rockland area during the past several years, and the opening of this new office puts the exclamation point on our commitment to what we call the 'Maine Advantage.'"

Mr. Schwartz went on to say, "We chose the Thorndike Building as the site of our new Rockland office for both practical and emotional reasons. On the practical side, the reborn Thorndike is an excellent office complex in a perfect location, easily reached by study volenteers. And the fact that it is also a historic structure was especially appealing to us beause our executive offices are located in a lovely converted school building on the shores of Long Island Sound. I belive that a sense of history is important to our business, particularly in the Maine environment."
