| As you can
see, the qualifications needed to be a panelist vary greatly. But there is some
information we need to have before enrolling you in a study. Are you in good general health? Seeing a doctor or taking
medication on a regular basis?
Some medications affect the way your skin reacts;
some conditions such as asthma or diabetes might be aggravated by reactions to products.
If you have conditions such as eczema, psoriasis,
atopic dermatitis, skin cancer, or even if your skin is just very sensitive or prone to
allergic reactions caused by soaps, sunscreen products, cosmetics, etc., we need to know
this. Some study test products might irritate your condition; other studies might have a
test product to treat it.
For women, if you are currently pregnant, breast
feeding your baby, or planning a pregnancy, this is not a good time in your life to be
part of clinical testing.
