Sandra Haney came to IRSI with an extensive background in clinical testing and procedures.  Upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. degree, she joined the U of P medical team (under the Agency For International Development) at Pahlavi University in Shiraz, Iran.  There she established new tests and clinical procedures and participated in a village and tribal survey which was later published.  More recently, Ms. Haney has served as manager for a medical group and director of a cardiac rehab facility.  She is an affiliate member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
