headquarters as well as being a major study facility.

management functions as well as providing clinical site facilities including the following

The Port Chester site has separate spaces for
running multiple group studies simultaneously including private examining rooms,
technology rooms and washing stations for shampoo studies, etc.
DATABASE
The population database for the Port Chester site
draws from a wide, populous and ethnically diverse area. The database is set up for rapid
recruiting using a wide selection criteria for almost any type of study. Recruiting
outside the database continuously augments our population and ensures dynamic and
up-to-date panel choices.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION
Located approximately 30 miles east of New York City
(Manhattan) on Long Island Sound, Port Chester is the last New York coastal community
before Connecticut.

IRSI occupies two floors of a converted brick
schoolhouse which is two minutes from I-95, one minute from a Marriot Courtyard Hotel and
20 minutes from Westchester County airport. There is also scheduled limo service from the
Marriot to La Guardia and JFK airports in New York. (Approximately 40 minutes to La
Guardia and 55 minutes to JFK.) Additionally, there is a rail connection, within walking
distance, to New York City and Connecticut. Trains run every thirty minutes to Grand
Central Terminal in New York City and frequent train service connects to points east in
Connecticut via Metro North’s New Haven line.
